On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mainly on newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that deserve inclusion. Beaumont is one of those—while it’s not brand new, it’s still relatively fresh to the valley and absolutely worth featuring. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito from Beaumont and knew right away it had to be on this list.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time in the Wasatch Front mountains, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before heading out. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a long ski day. The drive-through keeps it quick and easy without sacrificing quality. While I enjoy the typical Mexican drive-through burritos, many leave me feeling heavy or greasy—especially before physical activity. Beaumont strikes the right balance so you feel satisfied and ready for adventure.

The Beaumont breakfast burrito is filled with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What elevates it, though, is the sauce. A good burrito is always defined by its sauce, and Beaumont’s creamy tomatillo-escabeche-style dressing brings bright, tangy flavor that ties everything together.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just an excellent breakfast burrito. They serve great coffee and pastries, and their burrata salad is a standout. Beaumont reliably delivers fresh, well-prepared food in a welcoming setting. That said, popular spots attract crowds—on weekends you’ll often see people gathered outside. If you only want pastries and coffee, don’t be deterred: it’s easy to pop in or use the drive-through. But if you plan to sit and linger, expect a wait on busy weekend mornings. With a pleasant patio and a thoughtfully designed interior, Beaumont is well worth a visit.
Beaumont remains one of my top go-to morning stops for a satisfying, fresh breakfast before a day in the mountains or around town.
