Ingredients

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional dipping sauce: 1/2 cup mayo, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1–2 tablespoons Sriracha

Instructions

  1. Cut the sweet potato in half lengthwise, then cut each half into six wedges for a total of 12 wedges.

  2. Place wedges on a lined baking sheet. Brush all sides with olive oil and season with cumin, cinnamon, chili powder, kosher salt, and pepper.

  3. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25 minutes, flipping once halfway through so they brown evenly.

  4. Serve hot. If using the dipping sauce, mix mayo, ketchup, and Sriracha in a bowl and serve on the side.
