Every bite is a pure delight—spicy Cajun seasoning paired with a rich cream sauce makes this keto Cajun cod skillet an unforgettable meal.

Cajun Cod
I often reach for Cajun flavors because they add bold, comforting heat to so many dishes. Cajun seasoning complements everything from pork ribs and chicken strips to light, flaky fish like cod.

If you think cod is bland, this recipe will change your mind. The seasoning and creamy sauce transform cod into a vibrant, satisfying entrée.
Is Cod Healthy
Cod is an excellent, lean source of protein and works well in low-fat or heart-conscious diets. It also provides iodine for healthy thyroid function and is rich in vitamin B12, phosphorus, and selenium—nutrients that support muscle and brain health.

Cod and Asparagus
Asparagus is an ideal partner for cod. Its mild flavor soaks up the creamy Cajun sauce without overpowering the fish. It’s also heart-healthy—high in potassium and vitamin K—and a good source of fiber and folate.

Asparagus is low in carbs and simple to cook, making it a great keto-friendly vegetable that pairs well with a variety of proteins.
Cod Skillet
This skillet dinner is light, low in carbs, and easy to prepare. Each serving contains about 3 grams net carbs, and the entire meal cooks in one skillet—fish, asparagus and sauce—making cleanup quick. You can keep the skillet warm in the oven until ready to serve.

What To Eat With Cod
This dish is filling on its own, but a simple side like garlic butter cauliflower rice pairs beautifully. The creamy Cajun sauce is also great for dipping low-carb biscuits or rolls. A crisp keto coleslaw works well for a fresh contrast.
