One tube of biscuits yields 16 stuffed bites. Each biscuit is split into two layers, flattened, filled with a spoonful of apple pie mixture, and the edges are pinched together to form a sealed ball. They air fry in about 12 minutes total (times may vary by air fryer model). After cooking, each biscuit is dipped in melted butter and rolled in cinnamon sugar for a crisp, sweet coating.

AIR FRYER APPLE PIE STUFFED BISCUITS RECIPE TIPS:

  • Seal the edges tightly so the apple filling doesn’t leak during cooking.
  • Pillsbury Grands biscuits work well; both Southern Homestyle and Flaky Layers are suitable.
  • You won’t use the entire can of apple pie filling—save the remainder as a topping for ice cream, oatmeal, or pancakes.
  • Give each biscuit room in the air fryer basket so they can expand without touching.
  • Depending on your basket size, cook 6–8 at a time.
  • Best eaten within a few hours. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon (for filling)
  • 1 can Grands flaky refrigerated biscuits
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the apple pie filling with 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Chop the apple slices into smaller pieces if needed.
  2. Separate each biscuit into two layers and flatten each piece with your hands or a rolling pin. Place about 1 heaping tablespoon of the apple mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  3. Gather the edges up around the filling and pinch firmly to seal, forming a smooth ball.
  4. Line the air fryer basket with a parchment liner. Working in batches, arrange about 6 biscuits seam-side down with space between them and spray lightly with oil.
  5. Air fry at 325°F for 8 minutes. Flip each biscuit and cook an additional 3–4 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Cooking times may vary by air fryer.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
  7. Dip each hot biscuit in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
  8. Repeat with remaining biscuits and serve warm.
